Personal Data Protection Policy

Pursuant to the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data, and also the Development Regulation thereof, approved by Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, GUTSER informs its users of its data protection policy with respect to the personal data that may be required of said users and which they decide, both freely and voluntarily, to send to GUTSER via the electronic forms offered by GUTSER on its website.

The users agree to said personal data being processed by GUTSER according to the terms set out in the current Personal Data Protection Policy, and GUTSER reserves the right to modify said policy in order to adapt it to any new legislative developments or any new practices within the sector.

Confidentiality in the automated processing of personal user data.

GUTSER guarantees the confidentiality of the personal data provided by users. The data requested will be processed automatically and added to GUTSER's corresponding automated files, which have been duly registered in the General Data Protection Register.

GUTSER has adopted the personal data protection security levels required by law, and has installed the technical measures required to prevent the personal data provided from getting lost, being used inappropriately, being altered, accessed by non-authorised parties or stolen, taking into account the limitations set by Internet.

GUTSER will provide users with the appropriate technical resources so that, prior to submitting the personal data, users can access this warning or any relevant information and can give their consent so that GUTSER can automatically process the personal user data.

Purpose of data collection and processing

Automatically collecting and processing personal user data gathered from enquiries, petitions or subscriptions to any service, promotion or acquisition of products offered by GUTSER, is intended for maintaining the contractual relationship established between both parties, and also for managing, administering, offering, extending and improving the services rendered by GUTSER, and for adapting said services to user preferences.

Also, this data is intended for designing new services, updates and for sending, either via traditional means or technical IT means, the survey forms or commercial information, marketing actions and service advertisements, offers and advantages offered by GUTSER.  

Under no circumstances will GUTSER use the personal user data for purposes other than those described, unless prior notification is given on the web page so that users have the opportunity to oppose this intended use.

Users are not obliged to receive the said advertisements or survey forms, and in this respect, they can notify GUTSER accordingly using the means provided for this purpose by GUTSER, in the forms for subscribing to the services offered or by sending written notification.

Use of cookies and activity file

GUTSER is entitled to use cookies, which are small data files generated by the user's computer when the user is surfing on the GUTSER portal. The cookies can be sent from the same GUTSER server or from servers belonging to third party entities with whom GUTSER have subscribed advertising or audience measurement services.
The purpose of the cookies is to determine the use users make of this portal, to compile reports on the activity, and also to measure the audience and traffic parameters, controlling the number of portal entries.
